Your Level 2 qualification will fully qualify you as a hairdresser, allowing you to start your career straight away. Our courses are delivered in accordance with the standards set by VTCT, the awarding body. Alongside this, our courses include specialist areas that we believe are important to set our students up with a successful career.
Our courses are taught by hairdressers and tutors who have years of combined experience in the hairdressing industry, our students will not only gain knowledge on hairdressing practices but also get a feel for what it's like to put their practical skills into real-life scenarios and salon environments.

This course is delivered via an intense and compact, yet easy-to-follow structure. This Level 2 course includes all units up to NVQ standards which are listed below, along with our added specialised units which
we believe that every Hairdresser needs for a successful career in modern-day salons.
Standard Units:
- Colouring and lift hair using different techniques
- Cut hair using various techniques
- Responsibility to reduce risks to health and safety
- Give customers a positive impression
- Advise and consult with clients
- Shampoo, condition and treat the hair and scalp
- Style and finish hair
Specialised Units:
- Effective toning techniques
- The art of balayage
- Curly blow dries
- Social media training
- Business development
Duration: 6 months
Schedule: Tuesday & Wednesday 9-5

You do not need any previous qualifications or experience to join our NVQ Level 2 course. This will teach you everything you need to know right from the basics all the way through to everything you will need for a successful career.
The possibilities are endless. Immediately after completing this course you will be fully qualified to start your career straight away. Whether this is to be an employed stylist, self employed in a salon, freelance editorial work, or whichever path you wish to go down, this course will give you both the experience and qualifications that you need to be successful.
Our courses run two days per week every Tuesday and Wednesday 9-5 for 6 months.
We require a £500 deposit to secure your booking, which can be selected at checkout. The remaining amount is then due 8 weeks before your course start date.

For our Manchester course only, we do offer a personal payment plan allowing you to spread the cost over the duration of the course. There are only 3 spaces available per course.
We have a maximum of 10 students per class, allowing our learners to gain the care and attention needed from their tutor.
